Scholarship Information
Presidential Scholarships Fall 2007
The Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley will award a number of full-tuition Presidential Scholarships to full-time lay students accepted into the Master of Divinity Program. Admission to the Master of Divinity requires a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent. The scholarships are for three years, which is the length of the Master of Divinity program. Hispanics and underrepresented minorities in the Church are encouraged to apply. Experience or interest in working in poverty settings with those from different cultures is important, since Presidential Scholars will be involved pastorally in such local settings (parishes, prisons, social agencies, etc.) during each of their three years in the program. Interested applicants should apply well in advance of the application deadline of March 15, 2007.
