Goals of NCCHM

Goal 1:
To provide a forum for reflection on the status of Hispanics/Latinos in the church and society at the regional and national levels.

Goal 2:
To be a network for mutual support and collaboration among religious, professional, and civic organizations serving Hispanic/Latino communities.

Goal 3:
To promote fuller participation of Hispanics/Latinos, especially youth and young adults in church and society, by assisting through higher and advanced education in pastoral and theological studies.

Goal 4:
To advocate on behalf of Hispanic/Latinos in the area of human rights and work in collaboration with like-minded associations.

Goal 5:
To articulate theological, pastoral and social issues and concerns of special interest to Hispanics/Latinos through workshops, research, and publications.

Goal 6:
To facilitate communication among grass-roots communities, church, civic, and professional organizations.
