About Us
Organization Direction
NCCHM was formed in 1991 to have broadly-based network to share mutual concerns with its member organizations. Given the diversity of the United States Hispanic Catholic communities such an umbrella organization is essential if the problems and possibilities of these groups are to effectively be articulated and communicated within Church and society. The main purpose of NCCHM is to serve its member organizations and help make a positive impact in Hispanic Ministry.
Strategies
Advocacy
NCCHM advocates for its constituency, by theological reflection on Hispanic Ministry, using current demographic material and producing research reports and news alerts.
Education
NCCHM provides education to our membership through training, seminars, and symposia in areas of particular interest such as Leadership Development, Stewardship and Resource Development.
Networking
NCCHM creates a network of support through our annual membership meetings, National Leadership Congress, bilingual newsletter, and is a source of information on Hispanic Ministry.
